Context

Your client has expressed satisfaction with your previous work, recognizing the value you have delivered. As a result, they are now considering extending the collaboration and using your consultancy services in the coming months.

Given your expertise, they are particularly interested in exploring ways to enhance their contribution to sustainability and align their operations with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). They have invited you to submit a proposal for a new project that could provide tangible benefits to their organization while supporting key SDG targets.

Your task is to develop a well-structured proposal that outlines a practical, impactful, and feasible solution tailored to the client’s needs.

Project Brief

Businesses play a critical role in advancing sustainability by integrating social, environmental, and economic objectives into their operations. SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being – Exploring strategies to enhance employee well-being, mental health, workplace safety, and broader public health initiatives.
SDG 5: Gender Equality – Addressing gender representation, equal opportunities, and inclusive workplace policies to empower women and girls.
SDG8: Decent Work and Economic Growth – Examining how businesses can promote fair labor practices, job creation, skills development, and economic resilience while ensuring sustainable growth.
SDG9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure – Exploring ways in which the business can promote sustainable industrialization.
SDG12: Responsible Consumption and Production – Exploring what the business can do to maintain responsible consumption and production.

Your task is to develop a well-structured proposal that outlines a practical, impactful, and feasible solution tailored to the client’s needs.

Project Objectives & Scope

In this project, you will:

Select a company from any industry that is either actively engaged in sustainability or has potential for SDG improvement.
Assess the company’s current sustainability efforts by researching its business practices, industry trends, and existing SDG contributions.
Identify gaps and opportunities where the company can enhance its impact on relevant SDGs (e.g., SDG 1, SDG 3, SDG 5, etc.).
Develop a strategic proposal, outlining actionable recommendations to strengthen the company’s sustainability impact.

You may choose to focus on one SDG or multiple SDGs, as long as your project remains coherent, well-structured, and within the word limit.
