Task
Drawing on your knowledge gained in this module as well as your own reading, research and experience, for Strategic International Marketing you will be required to create a marketing report for a product of your choice to enter one new international market. The market must be somewhere where the product is not currently marketed and available.
The assessment is divided into two parts and two submissions:
Assessment 1 is a Market Analysis
Assessment 2 is a Marketing Implementation Plan and Evaluation
The Learning outcome(s) assessed by this assignment are:
1. Undertake a market analysis including awareness of the impact of current issues in contemporary international marketing
2. Evaluate branding and brand strategy as part of international marketing strategy
LEVEL 7-MSc International Business Management
In accordance with the FHEQ, at the end of Level 7 students should have a systematic understanding of knowledge, and a critical awareness of current problems and/or new insights, much of which is at, or informed by, the forefront of their academic discipline, field of study or area of professional practice. They will be able to demonstrate originality in the application of knowledge, together with a practical understanding of how established techniques of research and enquiry are used to create and interpret knowledge in the discipline.
They should have a conceptual understanding that enables them to evaluate critically current research and advanced scholarship in the discipline and to evaluate methodologies and develop critiques of them and, where appropriate, to propose new hypotheses. They will also be able to deal with complex issues both systematically and creatively, make sound judgements in the absence of complete data, and communicate their conclusions clearly to specialist and non-specialist audiences. In addition, they will be able to demonstrate self-direction and originality in tackling and solving problems, and act autonomously in planning and implementing tasks at a professional or equivalent level
